Pair tempted by 'Fate' pic
Moore, McAvoy set for 'Twist' turn

HOLLYWOOD -- Mandy MooreMandy Moore and James McAvoy are in final talks to star in thriller "Twist of Fate" for Mark DamonMark Damon's production and financing company Foresight Unlimited. Jennifer Elster ("Particles of Truth") is set to direct.
Story, from a screenplay by Wendy Riss ("The Winner""The Winner"), revolves around a couple whose lives are upended after a hit-and-run accident.
"Twist," set to begin shooting in May, will be presented to buyers at the upcoming Berlin Film Festival.
In addition to Damon, producers are Alessandro Camon, Alexandra Milchan and Moshe DiamantMoshe Diamant. Ed Pressman is exec producing. Camon and Milchan jointly developed the script.
Moore will next be seen opposite Hugh GrantHugh Grant in comedy "American Dreamz" and with Dwayne "the Rock""The Rock" Johnson and Seann William ScottSeann William Scott in "Southland Tales."
McAvoy, who starred in "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," also will star in Fox SearchlightFox Searchlight's "The Last King of Scotland."
